Pierco Foundations are ideal for people who want the classic form and function of a wooden frame but without the hassle of cross wiring wax foundation. Made of the same durable, food grade plastic as Pierco frames, they are wax coated and offer the same protection from wax moth damage.
These foundations are best suited for use with grooved top and bottom bars but will work with a wedge top just fine.
Foundations come in black or white.
We prefer to use black in our brood chambers because it makes seeing developing larvae easier. This is especially helpful if you are grafting.
