These spring nucs are from a well known, reputable beekeeper with operations in New York and South Carolina. Their heritage is the result of years of a selective breeding for a number of traits with a particular focus on hygienic activity. These nucs are started in South Carolina with daughter queens from the northern stock raised in New York. They are productive, gentle and very hardy… really great bees!
Nucs will consist of a newly mated queen on brood of her own heritage. The five deep frames will consist of two brood frames, two honey frames, and one frame of foundation that can vary from brood to honey. This frame is used by the bees for expansion and is important to keep the colony balanced while growing in their nuc box.
Please consider ordering early as we have a limited supply and expect to sell out quickly. Marked queens are not available for nucs. All honey bee orders are nonrefundable.
